Willow Tree Management Consulting, LLC was established by Human Capital Consultant,  Ms. Kia Brown.  Kia  is a proud alumnus of Bowie State University and Johns Hopkins University where she received her B.S. Degree in Psychology and M.S. Degree in Organizational Development and Strategic Human Resources, respectively.  Willow Tree Management Consulting is  certified  as a Maryland Dept. of Transportation- Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).

Kia’s passion for strategically mobilizing progressive change within organizations has afforded her the opportunity help improve organizational systems in the private, non-profit, education, and government sectors in the areas of talent management, personnel test/assessment tool development, employee training and development. performance management, strategic workforce planning, program evaluation, and teambuilding.

Ms. Brown is a member of various professional associations, including Academy of Management, Organizational Development Network and Society for Human Resources Management. In 2011, Kia was appointed by the Maryland State Senate to serve a three year term on the Community Services Reimbursement Rate Commission under the MD. Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Ms. Brown has also served on the board for the Maryland Legislative Agenda for Women (MLAW).
